Ah, my little troll hunter, Felreaver. She recently made 7th. Still without dying even, tho she's tried a couple times. That troll beserk or rage, whatever, ability has saved me a few times. Like when that crab person two levels above me hops outta the water, inside my dead zone of course, and attacks me. I don't have wing clip yet, so I couldn't slow him and run to range. I had to stand toe to toe with him. Heh. Yeah, that was fun. >.>
She's rapidly approaching the magical 10th level, and I still haven't decided a first pet for her. She's blue toned, so I'd like her pets to also be blue or darkish. Eventually, I want her to have a deviate slayer, but that's at least 16th or 17th lev. Until then, I'm kinda stumped. I like the durotar tiger, except that blows away the whole blue themed pet thing. Maybe I'll save the tiger for my orc hunter. On that note ...
Please welcome Ocranna, my new orc hunter that I haven't even played yet! Woot! Our regular server kept crashing and to pass the time, I created her. Where Felreaver is bluish, Ocranna is orangish/redish. And, you guessed it, I want her pets to be orange/red (yellow?) themed. Hey, I like things to match. :P Sue me. Not really, I have no money to spare. I don't know when I'll get to playing this one. Maybe after I get Felreaver at least high enough to tame something.
Now all I need is to create a dwarf hunter, and my list is complete. Then to start playing and leveling all of them...

Introduction - Istanvyl
Yay for impulse pets! Oh, and ding, too. :)
Istanvyl is my draenei hunter, just turned 19th level. I was running her through wailing caverns with my hubby's main (55th dwarf pally) to get the Armor of the Fang set. I went in knowing she was about to advance, and planning to tame a deviant dreadfang (a blue windserpent). I love their coloring and patterning. But working our way around, I suddenly decided on a deviate viper. If you haven't seen them, they are gorgeous. The Petopia picture doesn't do them justice. They shimmer and glide so smoothly. The poison spit ability is kinda okay, but not outstanding. Picking my Shimmer was completely an impulse decision. Very unusual for me, since I tend to plan out my taming at least a level or two in advance.
Istanvyl is my Warsong Gulch character. She took over for Arraneil when she accidently hit 20th (d'oh!). Both my hubby and I have 19th levs that we pump up for the BG. They're not complete twinks, but they are respectable. And we add on to them as we can. So, needless to say, I don't see Istanvyl leveling anytime soon. At least hopefully not. Originally, she was going to be my main hunter while Arraneil stayed in the BG (I love the NE shadowmeld ability for flag guarding), but -- oops -- that didn't work. :P

Introduction - Myrriel (BE)
Ding! Myrriel, my blood elf hunter, is now 16th! Yay! Yeah, okay, she's way low, I know, but she's my 3rd highest hunter and not too far behind #1 (Arraneil, who's only 21st). She's well behind my main, a 53rd human warlock.
Myrriel is part of a Wednesday night group I play with; meaning, of course, that our group plays for about 3-4 hours almost every Wednesday night. Obviously, she's not on the fast track to advancement. One good thing about this tho, is her rest bar is past her current level, and probably past the next. So, she'll always get double experience for her kills. Bad thing, with usually 5 of us playing, the kill exp is pretty pathetic anyway, even with the rest bonus. We're leveling through questing. At least we breeze through the "Kill this boss" quests, cuz our group is that large. After a few deaths, we even took out a 21st level Elite when our highest was 16th, lowest 14th. It would have been easier, but random mobs kept jumping our priestess (even after we cleared the area).
Myrriel is also my Auction House player on the horde side. I use her to hunt for good AH deals, and sell recipes and random stuff. Whatever makes money. I not a huge AH player, but I do decent (best in my circle of friends). I'll post any little tips and secrets I've learned in a seperate post.
Next stop for Myrriel is to tame a ghostclaw ravager to learn Bite 3 and Claw 3. She's not gonna keep him - even tho they are neat looking - she just wants it for her raptor and worg. I tend to plan these things several levels in advance, so I know where to get all the new pet skills as soon as they're available. It's just what I do. :P
That's all I can think of about Myrriel right now. I'll keep posting any updates, and I'll do further intros as I advance my other characters.
EDIT - Okay, she's officially tamed the ghostclaw ravager and after much grinding with him, she finally learned both techniques. He was very stingey with Bite 3. Maybe he knew the abandon button was coming once he gave it up. I dunno. But, finally he gave in. Now my worg -- still unnamed, d'oh! -- has Bite 3. The raptor -- also unnamed, double d'oh! -- will get both as soon as he hits that magic 16th mark.

My personal goal, and love, in WoW...
Like countless other people, I am completely addicted to World of Warcraft. Of all the classes I've tried, I like the hunter the best. There's something about picking and choosing my different pets and having that extra character fighting beside me that I thoroughly enjoy. It adds just a little something more to an already excellent game. The pets take on their own personality, even if technically they're only electric pulses and pixels on the screen. I enjoy watching them move and fight. It took awhile of trial and error -- my main is actually a warlock -- but I've learned that the hunter is my favorite class.
So, I have set a personal goal for myself: to have at least one hunter from every race available to have them, and to level them up.
Doesn't sound like much, I know. But I have precious little time to play, and I still want to get my main, Yvelle, up to 70th. She's currently 53rd. The purpose of this blog is to monitor the progress of my hunters as they level up and share any tips/tricks I learn across the way. Here's a roll call:
Arraneil (21st Night Elf: pets- ghost saber Unnamed, ghostpaw runner Wolfie)
Istanvyl (18th Draenei: pets- ravager speciman Nibbler, mountain buzzard Peaches)
Myrriel (15th Blood Elf: pets- bloodtalon scythemaw Unnamed, worg Unnamed)
Felreaver (6th Troll: no pets yet)
Fawnell (5th Tauren: no pets yet)
No dwarf or orc hunters yet...
Yes, they're all low level right now. But hopefully that'll change soon. :P
As for my numerous unnamed pets ... um, well, I want some good names for these guys, and I'm drawing blanks. D'oh! I'm thinking of posting Myrriel's two up on Mania's blog. I have some ideas, but they're just not quite right. As for the saber, I just got her. I'm thinking of naming her Specter or something similar. Arraneil's previous cat was named FuzzyButt. XD
That's my intro to my blog. Cya next time!
PS- If you haven't checked it out yet, the best website for WoW pets is Petopia. Seriously, it's like Christmas shopping there. :)
